Assist-Travel/Transportation:

Assist-Travel/Transportation is an NDIS support that helps participants safely and reliably travel to their daily activities, build independence, and stay connected to their community.

 

This support can include:

• Transport to and from appointments (medical, therapy, education)

• Travel to work, training, or community activities

• Assistance using public transport (e.g. learning routes, reading timetables, building confidence)

• Support with getting in and out of vehicles safely

• Accompanied travel to ensure safety and reduce anxiety

• Help developing independent travel skills over time

 

The goal of Assist-Travel/Transportation is not just getting from point A to B, but increasing the participant’s confidence, independence, and ability to access opportunities in everyday life.
