Assist-Personal Activities
Assistance with personal tasks of daily life, including showering, dressing, eating, mobility, and personal hygiene so participants can live as independently as possible.
Assist – Personal Activities
Alert Care Services Australia provides Assist – Personal Activities supports to NDIS participants to help them complete daily personal tasks and maintain independence.

Supports are delivered based on the participant’s NDIS plan, goals, and individual needs. An assessment is completed to understand the participant’s support requirements, preferences, and abilities. A personalised support plan is then developed.

Support workers assist participants with daily personal activities, including:

-
Personal hygiene and showering
-
Grooming and dressing
-
Toileting support
-
Mobility and transfers
-
Assistance with daily routines
Supports are delivered in a way that promotes the participant’s choice, control, dignity, and independence.
Where required, support workers may also assist with basic household tasks that support daily living, such as:

-
Meal preparation
-
Light household cleaning
-
Assistance with essential errands
Support workers also provide social interaction and emotional support to encourage participant wellbeing and community participation.
